Recreational Cheer

Our recreational cheer classes will combine elements of Cheer, Tumble and Pom Dance to give the athletes a rounded experience of all things cheer! The aim of our recreational programs is not only to have fun and meet new people, but to learn the basics of all programs and give the athletes the opportunity to see where their passion lies.

Recreational Dance

Hiphop dance refers to dance styles, mainly street dance styles, primarily danced to hip hop music, or that have evolved as a part of the hip hop culture.

These later styles are sometimes referred to as new school or new style while the older styles, including breakdance and various funk styles that were incorporated into hip hop, are considered old school.

In 2019 we introduced a recreational Hip Hop class and boy it did not disappoint! This class is for any age and it teaches the foundations of Hip Hop. Students in this class learn hip hop technique, hip hop tricks and choreography.

The next step for our graduated Ready Set Dancers who do not wish to move into competition teams, but still want to continue their journey in dance. This combo class will continue to develop technical and genre based understanding of dance. A great way to continue building foundation skills and an easy transition for those who ever want to step in competitions down the track!

Known for its impressive floor moves, breakdance students will learn top rocks, drops, freezes, floor rocks, transitions and more. Combine this with Hip Hop and you have yourself an amazing, high-energy dance class for boys.
